Alyssa Marie Mathews, Operations Manager

Alyssa is an all-around artist with over 15 years of theatre experience across many different areas but nowadays puts a focus on puppetry and management. She holds a Masters Degree in Puppet Arts from the University of Connecticut and a BFA in Acting from Southern Oregon University, with minors in Shakespeare Studies and Studio Arts. Along with the day-to-day of being the Operations Manager with H2M, she also works as Managing Director and Lead Puppeteer for the touring sci-fi/horror/comedy/rock musical puppet troupe, Puppeteers For Fears. She has made original puppets for the troupe, performed, directed, and tour managed for the past 8 years. She has also worked numerous jobs(props design, box office, puppetry) with other theatre companies, such as Imago Theatre, New Room Studios, Oregon Shakespeare Festival - Green Show (Ashland, OR), Broadway Sacramento, Capital Stage (Sacramento, CA), and The Woodland Opera House (Woodland, CA). Alyssa has a passion for collaborative, authentic, and original theatre works that lift new voices.
